This piece is called ‘Survive’ and is a painting extremely close to my heart . The inspiration for this painting was the need to process going through a dark place, but ultimately there is beauty in chaos, growth in persevering through the devastation. Stand strong and have hope because you were born to survive.
Creating this painting was a needed therapeutic process, and gave me the revelation that though I felt lost and devastated, I am strong and going through pain and grief brings freedom and renewed hope.
