‘Odyssey’. All paintings go on a journey from blank canvas to finished piece. This painting has been on many journeys and had many layers until I felt it had finally arrived at the right destination. If you don’t risk, if you don’t try, you’ll never know what could have been. Hours and hours and layers and layers of paint, ink, silicone oil, and love went into this…much like the ocean has layers and layers of depth and uniqueness and change…and hopefully not actual paint and oil in it!
