Sometimes I look at a finished piece and need to think of what to name it - what does it speak to me, what from my heart has overflowed onto the canvas? And with this one, 'Awake My Soul' is so apt. To feel the crashing waves, the depth within even the edge of the ocean, the life and awakening the ocean brings. The ocean is such an incredible gift to us.
